The III EUROSAI-ASOSAI Joint Conference will be held in Israel on March 10-14, 2019. The theme of the Conference will be: "Emerging Issues and Emergency Situations". This central theme encompasses many important sub-themes:
- In the field of Emergency Situations, such sub-themes will include: preparations for natural disasters (earthquakes, wildfires, tsunamis, etc.); disaster management; coping with terror attacks; cyber security threats and more.
- In the field of Emerging Issues, such sub-themes will include: dealing with the challenges of migration and refugees; aging population; SDGs and more.

This unique Conference, held by SAI Israel - an active member of both EUROSAI and ASOSAI, promises to be an exciting opportunity to brainstorm and share knowledge with friends and colleagues from SAIs of both regional groups. It will also be an exceptional opportunity to learn from the best experts about the different challenges we need to deal with when facing emerging issues and emergency situations, including the best audit practices to assume, the audit capacities and audit tools needed, etc. Moreover, the Conference will be held in Israel - land of creation and creativity - in locations that will inspire us all, and add to the exclusive atmosphere and scenery of the Conference.
