Background: The EUROSAI IT Working Group (ITWG) was created at the 5^th EUROSAI Congress held in Moscow in 2002.

Membership: The Group is chaired by the SAI of Estonia, which took over from the SAI of Poland in June 2020 and is composed of more than 30 members.

Mission and aims: The EUROSAI ITWG aims to further the institutional sharing of expertise and experiences between the SAIs of the European region and encourage the implementation of joint activities in the field of Information Technology. The Working Group tries to complement the initiatives of the INTOSAI IT Audit Standing Committee and to encourage the mutual sharing of experiences between the two organisations.

Background: The EUROSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (EUROSAI WGEA) was formally established by a resolution of the 4^th EUROSAI Congress held in Paris, in 1999.

Membership: The Group is chaired by the SAI of Poland, which took over from the SAI of Estonia in June 2020 and is composed of more than 40 members.

Mission and aims: The EUROSAI WGEA has adopted the vision of INTOSAI WGEA. EUROSAI WGEA and its members share a commitment to use the power of public sector audits to leave a positive legacy for future generations by improving the management of natural resources and the environment, and the health and prosperity of the people of Europe. Through its activities, the EUROSAI WGEA aims to promote a spirit of cooperation based on integrity, open communication and professional excellence. This is achieved by pursuing the main strategic goals:

1. Encourage and support professional cooperation

2. Facilitate knowledge and experience sharing

Background: The EUROSAI Working Group on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes was established at the IX EUROSAI Congress in June 2014. However, its origin can be found in the former EUROSAI WGEA Special Subgroup on the Audit of Natural, Man-caused Disasters Consequences and Radioactive Wastes Elimination, that had acted since November 2006, which had been transformed into a Task Force on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes, in June, 2008 during the VII EUROSAI Congress. Later on, during the IX EUROSAI Congress held in June 2014, this Task Force was transformed into a Working Group.

Membership: The Accounting Chamber of Ukraine is the Chair of the EUROSAI Working Group, with its Secretariat located in Kiev, and it is composed by, approximately, 20 members.

Mission and aims: The EUROSAI WG´s mission is to coordinate and consolidate efforts of the European SAIs to help their governments in development of effective and efficient tools for prevention and consequences elimination of disasters and catastrophes.

Background: In June 2011, in Lisbon, the EUROSAI Governing Board set up a Task Force on Audit & Ethics (TFA&E), aimed at promoting ethical conduct and integrity, both in Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) and in public organisations. From 2011 until 2021, the TFA&E carried out multiple initiatives under the leadership of SAI Portugal, receiving internal and external recognition for influencing progress in the ethics management and the integrity audit in European SAIs. In 2021, having fulfilled the tasks included in its mandate, the TFA&E proposed to the EUROSAI XI Congress to close the activity of the Task Force, while at the same time keeping the Audit & Ethics subject as a topic in the Organisation’s agenda. To that end, the Congress established a «EUROSAI Network for Ethics», in charge of managing an on-line permanent platform to keep SAIs informed and collaborate in the topics of SAIs’ ethics management, SAIs’ integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives and their anti-corruption role.

Membership: The N.ET is chaired by the SAI of Croatia  with the support of the SAI of Portugal (Vice-chair) and is open to all EUROSAI members.

Objectives:  In accordance with the EUROSAI mission and vision, objectives and principles, the EUROSAI Network for Ethics intends to contribute to EUROSAI community by:

• promoting the theoretical and practical study of the problems and matters relating to SAIs’ ethics management and SAIs’ integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives, and related disciplines,
• collaborating in the exchange of techniques and knowledge considered to be of interest of the EUROSAI members, especially in the area of SAIs’ ethics management and SAIs’ integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives and other related initiatives,
• promoting and facilitating the exchange of information and documentation among EUROSAI members in relation to SAIs’ ethics management and SAIs’ integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives and other related initiatives,
• making effort to achieve greater understanding of problems and matters relating to the audit of public finances, and especially in the part relating to SAIs’ ethics management and SAIs’ integrity awareness raising, ethics related audit initiatives and other related initiatives.

Background: The EUROSAI Task Force on Municipality Audit (EUROSAI TFMA) was set up in the 44th EUROSAI Governing Board meeting in Luxembourg in June 2016.

Membership: The EUROSAI TFMA is chaired by the National Audit Office of Lithuania, with the Secretariat located in Vilnius, and it´s composed of 27 members.

Mission and aims: The EUROSAI TFMA mission is to create an open platform for sharing the best practice and experience on the municipality audit.

The EUROSAI TFMA activities are orientated to EUROSAI strategic goal on professional cooperation and based on 3 EUROSAI TFMA strategic goals:

1. Exchanging the best practice and experience to reach audit results that have a substantial impact on improving public financial management
2. Making the external municipal auditing system more efficient
3. Encouraging cooperative audits
