Unlocking the ClimateScanner: EUROSAI will be the next region to host the ClimateScanner Regional Workshop

After the OLACEFS, The European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) will be the next region to host the ClimateScanner Regional Workshop, scheduled from June 3 to June 7, 2024, in Prague, Czech Republic. This workshop is part of a series of in-person events taking place across the various regions of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), with the objective of implementing a coordinated assessment of governmental climate actions. Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) across the world will carry out these evaluations simultaneously until September 2024.
The goal of these workshops is to train auditors in the use of the ClimateScanner Rapid Review Tool Framework, providing key information on climate change, and its application via the CS App. The primary objective is to equip auditors with the knowledge necessary to effectively apply the ClimateScanner framework, enabling them to carry out this project efficiently within their respective SAIs.
This initiative is expected to contribute to the ongoing development of environmental accountability within the EUROSAI region, further strengthening the role of SAIs in this field.
