The INTOSAI CBC workstream on Auditing in Complex and Challenging Contexts (ACCC) has produced an infographic addressing issues of how to recruit and retain professionally qualified financial auditors

March 11, 2021

Recruiting and retaining staff can often be a challenge for SAIs. To help share good practices, the INTOSAI CBC workstream on Auditing in Complex and Challenging Contexts (ACCC) has produced an infographic addressing issues of how to recruit and retain professionally qualified financial auditors. The infographic can be accessed through this link INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee | Recruiting and Retaining Staff (intosaicbc.org). It builds on the practical experiences of SAIs operating in these situations.

The infographic is built around a core set of questions a SAI may have and by clicking on those questions, the reader is taken to possible solutions. It also contains case studies from the SAIs of Afghanistan, Eritrea, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Uganda.

The infographic is available in a text form, which will be uploaded into the EUROSAI database of products.

To assist with dissemination, there will also be a webinar on 16 March 2021 at 2 pm London time to take participants through the infographic and to hear from SAIs of Sierra Leone and Rwanda.

The link will be: https://eu.bbcollab.com/guest/ba5e079eaa1f4fdfbf1aec8375c34677 and this is accessible via google, Firefox, and other browsers.

The webinar will be of particular relevance to senior SAI management as well as those involved in human resource development and staffing.
