Latest developments in EUROSAI

Based on the results of negotiations between SAI Lithuania and SAI Turkey, whom at the 54th Governing Board (GB) meeting had expressed interest in contributing to the Strategic Goal 1 “Professional cooperation” portfolio, the GB has entrusted to SAI Lithuania the leadership of this portfolio, alongside SAI Germany as its co-leader. This decision was approved unanimously by all the GB members in written procedure.
Moreover, on Monday, 28 June, a Coordination Team meeting at the technical level was held online. The Coordination Team discussed issues related to the governance of EUROSAI and approved the Terms of Reference (ToR) of the Project Group on the Relaunch of the EUROSAI website (Communication portfolio; project leader: EUROSAI Secretariat) and of the EUROSAI Network for Ethics (SG1; project leader: SAI Croatia). The update of the ToR of the Project Group on Auditing the response to the COVID-19 pandemic (Forward thinking and emerging issues portfolio; project leader: SAI UK) was also approved during this meeting.
Last but not least, on 30 June, the member SAIs of the Governing Board met online, at technical level. During this meeting, the plans for their respective portfolios were presented and the steps to update of the Operational Plan were discussed.
