EUROSAI’s call to contribute to the development of the new Strategic Development Plan for the INTOSAI Framework of Professional Pronouncements

As you may know, a consultation process has been launched by the three INTOSAI Committees (PSC, CBC and KSC) to support the formulation of the new Strategic Development Plan (SDP) of the INTOSAI Framework of Professional Pronouncements (IFPP), which will cover the 2020-2025 period and be adopted at the next INCOSAI in 2019.
A wide consultation process is being promoted to obtain input from SAIs, INTOSAI bodies and external stakeholders. Extensive participation in this consultation process is crucial, being SAIs’ feedback of key importance for understanding the needs of the auditors and their institutions, thus contributing towards the provision of useful individual pronouncements and an overall reference framework.
Taking into account how relevant the IFPP is for our audit work and since one of the Strategic Goal 2’s objectives in the 2017-2023 EUROSAI Strategic Plan is to contribute to the future development of the IFPP, EUROSAI would like to encourage its members to participate in the abovementioned consultation by filling out a questionnaire by October 5th, 2018.

Additionally, please note that the INTOSAI Professional Standards Committee has produced two videos that provide some basic information about the new IFPP that will replace the ISSAI framework and the migration of documents from the ISSAI Framework to the IFPP.
