New President of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland (NIK)

Mr Marian Banaś has been appointed President of the Supreme Audit Office (NIK) by the Sejm (Lower Chamber of the Polish Parliament) and approved by the Senate (Upper Chamber of the Polish Parliament). Mr. Banaś, who formally assumed office August 30th 2019, replaced Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, following his six-year tenure at the office.
