The paper on “Making SAI independence a reality - Some lessons from across the Commonwealth” is now available. This document has been prepared based on the experience of those Commonwealth SAIs who have increased their level of independence. It describes barriers to increasing the level of SAI independence and strategies to help SAIs overcome them.
