The European Commission has issued the consultation on the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. The public organizations are subject to a different set of external and internal constraints and incentives than those found in the private sector, all of which affect their governance arrangements.
ECIIA and EUROSAI have conducted a survey to assess the publication of non-financial reports in the public sector and the use of the integrated reporting framework.
In this webinar, the final results and main findings of the aforementioned survey -which will be included in a forthcoming document- will be shared, and the need for a robust assurance process for sustainability reporting will be discussed.
Arno P. Visser, President of the Netherlands Court of Audit and former President of EUROSAI, will share his experience as a user of integrated reporting and explain the need for reliable information that can be trusted by different stakeholders.
