| оПисания | From 2014 to 2019, the Rail Baltica project governance and implementation has not been effective enough in Latvia, the Ministry of Transport was not prepared for monitoring such a large project sufficiently, as well as project risk management was not sufficiently effective, therefore there is a risk of project completion in due time, by 2025. Therefore, the audit was conducted to ascertain whether the project governance complies with the objectives of the Rail Baltica project in Latvia. The audit results are also included in a cooperative audit report on the Rail Baltica Global Project prepared together with the Supreme Audit Institutions Estonia and Lithuania. The aim of the audit was to assess the functioning of the internal control system in public procurement and contract management in the joint venture of the three Baltic States, Jsc. RB Rail. |
