EUROSAI Innovations Volume III is published

According to the Strategic Plan of EUROSAI for the Period of 2011-2017, one of the priority objectives is to “Establish the operational framework for facilitating capacity building development”, including “Promote the innovation in EUROSAI”. In this spirit, the main theme of the IX EUROSAI Congress held in The Hague in June 2014 was Innovation.
EUROSAI Goal Team 1 on Capacity Building has been putting great emphasis to respond to this challenge. Within the framework of the Goal Team’s activities the National Audit Office of the United Kingdom has assembled the booklet entitled “EUROSAI Innovations – Volume III – Sharing good practices among Supreme Audit Institutions”. Supreme Audit Institutions in Europe are seeking new ways to improve their performance and to more actively engage with their auditees, parliaments and citizens. This third volume, as the prior editions, includes innovations ranging over the widest aspect of running a modern SAI. One of the main aims with the publication of the booklet was to inspire SAIs to improve their organisational and audit-related processes.
