The 7th EUROSAI Strategic Goal 1 meeting was held online on 26 March 2024: Review of the Strategic Period 2017-2024 & A Look into the Future

On 26 March, EUROSAI Strategic Goal 1 “Professional Cooperation” co-leaders the National Audit Office of Lithuania and Bundesrechnungshof organised the 7th EUROSAI SG1 videoconference bringing together over 50 participants.
During the videoconference, representatives of 12 EUROSAI members (SAIs of Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Türkiye, and Ukraine) gave presentations on projects that have been completed in the past year, upcoming projects and projects that are currently active under the SG1. Details of the presentations can be found in the final agenda of the meeting.
The meeting included a moderated discussion with representatives of the EUROSAI Presidency, the Working Group on Information Technologies (ITWG), the Project Group on Innovations in EUROSAI, and the Project Group on Travelling Club of Experts. The discussion focused on the successes and challenges of the SG1 activities during this EUROSAI Strategic Period.
The first half of the discussion was devoted to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on EUROSAI in general and SG1 activities in particular. Afterward, the panellists shared their ways to successfully attract participants to their activities, their sources of inspiration, their mistakes and celebrated their top three achievements. The discussion was concluded with a summary of the entire EUROSAI Strategic Period 2017-2024.
The seventh meeting of the EUROSAI Strategic Goal 1, which took place on the last Tuesday of March, was the last SG1 meeting during this EUROSAI Strategic Period, which lasted from 2017-2024.
