New resources available from the CBC workstream on Auditing in Complex and Challenging Contexts - Supporting SAIs in Complex and Challenging Contexts: An introduction for parliaments

Adopting the international auditing standards for Supreme Audit Institutions, the ISSAIs, is a major challenge for the SAI community. It is important that key partners, in particular parliaments, understand why we are adopting the ISSAIs, what this means for them in exercising their oversight roles, and how they can best support us while we are implementing the ISSAIs.
To help with this process, the INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee, through its workstream on Auditing in Complex and Challenging Contexts, has produced the following resources:
- An introductory flier: Supporting SAIs in Complex and Challenging Contexts An introduction for parliaments; and
- A background briefing: Helping Supreme Audit Institutions apply international auditing standards in complex and challenging contexts.
The documents can be found on the CBC website.
A separate version of these will shortly be produced for those SAIs operating within the Court model of audit.
