Seminar Compliance Audit: Use of the Compliance Audit Guidelines (ISSAI 400 and 4000-4999) and Best Practice” will be held under the umbrella of EUROSAI and organised by the Lithuanian Supreme Audit Institution on 28-29 October 2014 in Vilnius.
Structure of the seminar
The seminar will combine general plenary session with workshops for auditors including presentations of case studies and discussions as well as a workshop for methodology staff to exchange experiences on compliance audit. At the end of the seminar participants will again meet in plenary to sum up the discussions and see if there is scope for further work.
Who should attend?
The seminar is intended for auditors, audit team leaders and managers as well as methodology staff involved in compliance audit and implementation of ISSAIs who are ready to engage in discussion. The working language of the seminar will be English.
A paperless meeting
The seminar will be paperless. Documents will be made available at the website of the National Audit Office of Lithuania (details will be provided) and distributed on USB flash drives. Participants are advised to bring their own laptops with USB ports. Internet access via Wi-Fi will be available.
Accommodation and venue
The National Audit Office pre-booked hotel rooms in Radisson Blu Astorija hotel located in the Old Town of Vilnius. We advise participants to reserve accommodation no later than 15 September 2014. Reservations should be done directly with the hotel, which will send a booking confirmation in reply. Participants should note that room reservations made after the suggested deadline cannot be guaranteed.
The seminar will be held in the same hotel.

Participants should confirm their participation by sending their Registration form to the National Audit Office by 15 September 2014 at the latest.
