New President of the Supreme Audit Institution of Romania
The Parliament of Romania appointed Mr. Mihai Busuioc as a new President of the Romanian Court of Accounts, starting 15th of October 2017 for a 9-year term. Mr. Mihai Busuioc has a prominent career in the public sector, previously he was the General Secretary of the Romanian Government with the rank of a Minister. Among other positions he served as a General Secretary of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration, a General Director of the National Agency for Cadastral and Land Book, a Chairman of the Council of Administration and a Chairman of the Board of Directors Council of the National Infrastructure
for Spatial Information.
Our institution has always paid close attention to the partnership relations with colleagues from the international audit community and President Mihai Busuioc takes this opportunity to express his intention to continue the consolidation of the cooperation with his counterparts and the extension of the interactions at both bilateral and multilateral level.
