| оПисания | The Ministry of Education and Science is responsible for education policy in general, while the Ministry of Culture is the institution responsible for education in the cultural and creative industries. Due to insufficient cooperation among the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science, and their institutions, the organisation of cultural education has not been sufficiently effective, as the activities of the Ministry of Culture are mainly focused on vocational education institutions founded and subordinated to it. This is the second audit on vocational secondary education in Latvia. Where, in the first audit report “Development of the vocational secondary education system in Latvia” the activities of the Ministry of Education and Science and its institutions were assessed, then in this audit report special attention is paid to the organisation of cultural and creative industries education. |
