| Beschreibung | Irish Government departments and offices hold a significant portfolio of capital assets. The 2018 appropriation accounts recognised capital assets with a net value of €6 billion. Over 80% of this value related to property assets (i.e. land and buildings) in use. Information on capital assets is reported in notes to the appropriation accounts. This report identified a number of issues in relation to how information on capital assets is reported which reduces the overall transparency, comparability and reliability of information presented. |
