Coordinated Audit Working Group

  In its Conclusions and Recommendations, the VI EUROSAI Congress agreed that "there should be a coordinated audit of tax subsidies that is open to all EUROSAI members". During the Congress a Working Group was set up to coordinate the audit plans of the SAIs and to develop concepts for the coordinated audit. The following SAIs participate, by the moment  in the audit mission: Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia,Lithuania, Poland, Romania, the Russian Federation, Sweden, Switzerland, the Slovak Republic, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands (observer).

The objectives of the coordinated audit mission are to:

 • enhance the sharing of knowledge,
 • enhance communication between EUROSAI members in areas of special interest,
 • obtain best practice information,
 • strengthen informal networks,
 • and improve cooperation with academic/research institutes.

The Working Group held several meetings: 10 and 11 November 2005 (Bonn, Germany), 21 and 22 February 2006 (Bonn), 28 August of 2006 (Copenhagen, Denmark), and 16 February 2007 (Warsaw, Poland). The following meeting will be held on 11 and 12 September 2007 in Bratislava (Republic of Slovakia). The final meeting of the Working Group will take place in Bonn from 29 to 31 January 2008.
