Welcome to the website

The website of European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) was created in 1997 by the EUROSAI Secretariat, that is in charge of hosting, maintaining and updating it.

At its VI meeting (Madrid, 2002), the EUROSAI Training Committee discussed about the possibility of proposing a new layout for the EUROSAI homepage. The SAI of Denmark, in co-operation with the SAI of Spain and EUROSAI Secretariat, have carried out this task preparing a new format for the page and making a general revision and update of the contents. The project was presented and adopted by the VI EUROSAI Congress (Bonn, 2005).

In order to maximize its performance and as most visits are made to the English version of the page it was decided to keep English as a common language for all contents, and also collect general and institutional aspects in the other four official languages of the EUROSAI.

The EUROSAI Secretariat regularly updates the contents of the website, with the cooperation of Members of the Organisation to provide information and update the relevant pages that are accessed through a link.

In the XXXII Meeting of the Governing Board (Bern, 2007), it was agreed to include on the EUROSAI website information on training, which were previously contained in a separate page maintained by the Supreme Audit Institution of France. Since that date, that information is received and compiled by the SAI of France that sends it to the EUROSAI Secretariat for its incorporation into the website.

We hope that the current design of the page is interesting and useful, making it easier to access. The site is open to comments and suggestions that users consider to be appropriate (eurosai@tcu.es). Only in this way, with the cooperation of everyone, would also be improved to benefit the common
