WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE
The website of European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) was created in 1997 by the EUROSAI Secretariat, which is in charge of hosting, maintaining and updating it.
In 2002 the EUROSAI Governing Board, at the proposal of the EUROSAI Training Committee (VI meeting Madrid, 2002), agreed to design a new layout for the EUROSAI homepage. The SAI of Denmark, in co-operation with the SAI of Spain and EUROSAI Secretariat, carried out this task preparing a new format for the page and making a general revision and update of the contents. The project was presented and adopted by the VI EUROSAI Congress (Bonn, 2005).
In order to maximize its performance and as most visits are made to the English version of the page it was decided to keep English as the common language for all contents, and also collect general and institutional aspects in the other four official EUROSAI languages.
The EUROSAI Secretariat regularly updates the contents of the website, with the cooperation of Members of the Organisation to provide information and update the relevant pages that are accessed through a link.
At the XXXII Meeting of the Governing Board (Bern, 2007), it was agreed to include also on the EUROSAI website information on training, which was previously contained in a separate site hosted by the Supreme Audit Institution of France. Since then, that information is received, compiled and incorporated to the website by the EUROSAI Secretariat.
The EUROSAI STRATEGIC PLAN EUROSAI 2011-2017, approved at the VIII Congress of the Organisation (Lisbon, 30 May to 2 de June 2011), establishes the review of the EUROSAI website in order to adapt it to the new needs raised from the above mentioned Plan and to the organisational structured put in place to implement it. This initiative has been launch and it is being currently developed.
We hope that the EUROSAI website is interesting and useful. The site is open to comments and suggestions by users (eurosai@tcu.es). Only this way, counting on the cooperation of everyone, it can be improved and updated in common benefit
