Welcome to the website

The website of European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) was created in 1997 by the EUROSAI Secretariat, that is in charge of hosting, maintaining and updating it.

At its VI meeting (Madrid, 2002), the EUROSAI Training Committee discussed about the possibility of proposing a new layout for the EUROSAI homepage. The SAI of Denmark, in co-operation with the SAI of Spain and EUROSAI Secretariat, have carried out this task preparing a new format for the page and making a general revision and update of the contents.

Before making the revision of the page several aspects were studied, as the number of visitors of the site, the time they stayed on it, and the pages particularly visited. It was checked that, in most of the cases, the visits were drawn to the English version of the site. Taking this detail into account it was decided to maintain all the content of the webpage in English, using the other four official EUROSAI languages for the general and main contents.

The new website is somewhat similar to the previous one though some innovations at material and technical levels have been introduced. The main sections of the previous page have been maintained, though some new ones have been added to complete it and to give it a wider scope. The result of that initiative is the new configuration shown in this site.

We hope that the new layout of the EUROSAI website can be interesting and useful and make it easy to access to it. Please feel free to make the comments and suggestions on the website that you consider convenient (eurosai@tcu.es). That way we will be able to improve it to the benefit of its users.
